Looks like a lot of bushels there. What is the price difference between feed and malt?

Nice looking crop Mallee. I suppose grain dryers are as common for you as kangaroos are to us? Is aeration an option for you to help dry it some?

Good luck with harvest from the snowy north🍀

Good Luck matey, it is standing nicely, it’ll be high and dry soon. We had a great fall here with perfect harvest weather, wishing you a dry window too. 🍀

Just curious Mallee what variety of barley is that ? Seems like a long growing season since June 1. We must have better growing degree days in our short summer than you do in your winter. Hope you catch a break in the weather and get your crop harvested in good shape. Spent a lot of time getting my yard cleared of snow yesterday so truck can come to haul out canola. Now waiting for RM to clear road.

                  Tis beast barley.

one that may be grown on the prairies is "planet" barley

not a lot of warmth this growing season record cold weather not so much frosts just cold days
